Nonprofit Grant Deadlines lists open grant deadlines for nonprofits. Each listing has a short summary and a deadline, then links to the funder’s own page. We never copy whole listings.
Data sources
This product uses the Grants.gov API but is not endorsed or certified by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Federal data comes from Grants.gov and is provided “as is.” Our short summaries are our own wording. Always read the official notice before you apply.
- Federal: the Grants.gov API. We pull posted opportunities that close within 90 days and are open to nonprofits (eligibility codes 12 and 13), or to “others” or unrestricted applicants (codes 25 and 99). The data is provided “as is.” See the API terms. This site does not imply any endorsement by HHS or Grants.gov, and never presents changed content as Grants.gov’s.
- California: the California Grants Portal open data (license: Other, Public Domain). We keep active grants that list nonprofits as eligible. We keep the title, agency, deadline, amount and link. The State does not endorse this site.
- Other states and funders: read by hand from the funder’s own page, with the date we last checked. We fetch a few pages lightly and do not crawl at volume.
Method
- A deadline drops off the day after it closes. Pages stay up.
- Rolling programs have no set date. We list them under their state.
- Dates and amounts can change. Always confirm on the funder’s page.
- We list only what we verified. Where coverage is thin, the page says so.
