Workforce development grants for nonprofits
This page lists open grants for job training, apprenticeships, career pathways and employment services. Funders in this area usually want to see a link to real jobs, so a letter from a local employer can matter as much as the program design.
Expect to report on placements and wages, not only on how many people finished a course. If you do not track those numbers yet, set that up before you apply, because you may be asked for a baseline.
Workforce money often flows through local workforce boards and community colleges. If a listing does not name nonprofits as lead applicants, ask those groups whether they need a training partner.
